Hello I'm Anne

It is important for me to create a safe space for my clients. I really want you to feel at ease, confident, listened and not judged. The connection between us is really primordial.

I deliver hypnotherapy sessions online via Meet or Zoom in French and in English.

My Story

I am originally from France but I have been lucky to live in Costa Rica for almost 7 wonderful years and in Georgia (the country in Est Europe) for 2 years with my family.

I am a wife and mom of 3 little (and not-so-little-anymore) munchkins. I introduce you to my family because I think they are part of who I am and most of all, they represent what I am the most proud of and grateful for.

Here is a bit about my story and how I got to become an RTT® therapist.

In 2020, I came across a video of Marisa Peer talking about RTT® and how she helps people and especially how she can free them from addiction & depression. And it really touched me as my dad passed away from depression and addiction a few years before that. We had tried everything with my mom and sisters to help him out but haven't been able to. It has been a lot of ups and downs, stays in rehab, pain, ... We felt completely lost, hopeless, helpeless,...Nobody was able to help him out of it. And nobody could support us either. Doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists,...

We could not understand as for us he had everything in his life: a wife, 3 daughters, a house, a company, money...

So as a kid and then adult I started to think: Aren't we a good reason for him to live? Aren't we good enough?

It is a very difficult and destructive situation. But he too, was also feeling guilty, not worthy, not good enough. Addiction is not well seen by others. People reject addicts. They see them as losers, weak, nor good persons,... They are rejected, laughed at. And this just makes things worse.

Addicts feel powerless, useless, hopeless, alone, disconnected, lost, not worthy,...

Johann Hari says something really powerful for me in his book "Lost connection", he says: "The opposite of addiction is connection."
For my dad, this is what happened. Little by little everyone turned his back to him, as  I recognise it is very destructive for people around too. When he finally had no friends and family around him he passed away. He let himself go.
I thought for years, that my dad was trying to kill himself slowly, that alcohol was a slow death. But I understood that alcohol was a way for him to cope with his life. Traditional medicine or psychology failed him. As we did too. He didn't know consciously why he was like that. I am convinced that RTT® could have helped him as he helped and saved others by accessing the root cause of the issue. It is often very deep-rooted and working with your conscious mind is not enough. We create so many limiting beliefs during our childhood even if we haven't lived what we think is Trauma. The important is finally not the event by itself but what interpretation we give to it. What beliefs we created, what conclusions we made of it.

I have met so many families living in similar situations like mine and today I can help them.

RTT® is really powerful and I am delighted and fortunate to have been trained by Marisa Peer's team in this fantastic method. I am honored to be able in my turn to help and free people from their problems. I am really glad, you are here and that our lives are crossing. I think there is no coincidence in life. I am sure we will do amazing work together. Can't wait to meet you.

With love,

Anne.
